At Big Green Egg, Louis was a critical player in the creative team — leading the charge with their wordsmithery, tone of voice, and day-to-day management of their website and CRM.

As a key contact for various third parties, he also helped to facilitate the creation and upload of a huge body of content for the new website. Since his tenure at Big Green Egg, the brand voice has become sharper and more effective. His input — across every brand touchpoint — directly contributed to the brand’s overwhelming year-on-year growth.

Sublime Butter is well-known for two things: its delicious products, and its razor-sharp personality. Louis is responsible not only for creating rich, on-brand and effective copy throughout Sublime’s ecosystem, but for defining the overarching style in the first place, and ensuring that it continues to adhere to the brand’s standards of excellence.

In addition to copy and tone of voice, Louis single-handedly created Sublime’s beautiful Shopify website, which has proven the brand’s effectiveness in the B2C market. He continues to manage and optimise the site, increasing the performance in general, as well as integrating the site with a wide range of new features and apps — such as Sublime’s CRM, subscriptions, wholesale and more.

Louis worked directly with the founder of YO!, Simon Woodroffe, to discover and define the story that needed to be told for the YO! brand. In a series of interviews, blog posts, and throughout the new website, Louis helped Simon to articulate and electrify his essential messages, which were then cascaded to the wider brand universe.

In collaboration with Pernod Ricard, Louis worked as the lead writer on a hugely ambitious project — encompassing hundreds of prestige drinks brands. Focusing on the ultra luxury market and in Pernod Ricard’s spirit of “créateurs de convivialité” philosophy, Louis crafted compelling stories for this legendary group’s highly secretive club.

You may or may not have heard of Pernod Ricard, but you’re almost certain to have heard of the brands within it that Louis wrote for — including Perrier-Jouët, Chivas, Jameson, The Glenlivet, Absolut, Plymouth Gin and so many more.

In addition to content management and creation for this huge project, Louis was instrumental in the creative process in general, taking a key role in discovery workshops, ideation, and relationship management.
